Many might know Chris Johnson as the bassist for the genre-redefining, grammy-nominated band Deafheaven... But his ear and career (his CarEAR) goes much deeper than that.
I talked to Chris about wearing several different hats within the band world, whether it be a sound engineer, a recording engineer, a bassist, and more! We talk about his insane Grammy experience and everything leading up to it, and we of course cut to the core of his being in the Lightning Crashes Round.
